'Fragment III' is one of three works made in the same format in the same medium with Buchanan employing yellow acrylic wash with charcoal on paper. (Fragment I and Fragment II have also been purchased by CMAG). The 'endless' section of the Hume Highway and the signs, road works and coffee shops along its path inform these works. The works are composed of 'fragments' of these forms. "Fragment III" contains a large balck from with triangular motif at its base . Yellow background at top and rhs of form.
