Join us at CMAG for the 25th National Multicultural Festival

We have free yoga classes, children’s art workshops and facepainting. Grab a coffee from the CMAG Cafe. There is even a Chill-Out Space for those who need a quiet zone after enjoying the live music, dance performances and food stalls in Civic Square. 

What’s on at CMAG on Saturday 18 and Sunday 19 February 2023: 

YOGA – Adults can enjoy a free yoga class on Saturday and Sunday from 8–9am before the crowds arrive. Suitable for all skill levels. Enjoy refreshments in the CMAG cafe afterwards then immerse yourself in the festivities. Please BYO mat. Free. Bookings essential. 

STUDIO WORKSHOP – Drop-in artmaking for children on Saturday and Sunday at 11am, 12pm, 2pm and 3pm to make your own loom and create a mini-weaving or collaborate on an ever-growing maxi-weaving in the courtyard. Free. No bookings required. 

FACEPAINTING – For children featuring animals from across the world on Saturday and Sunday from 12–4pm. Free. No bookings required. 

MAKERSPACE – Make your own out-of-this-world and one-of-a-kind Fantastic Creature. Available all weekend. Free. No bookings required. 

READERSPACE – Settle in for a story inspired by the works of art on display or access the Children’s Trail to explore an exhibition. Available all weekend. Free. No bookings required. 

CHILL – The CMAG Members Lounge is a quiet, calm and comfortable place to chill for anyone of any age who needs to take time out from the festivities and recharge. Available all weekend. 

MUMS & BUBS – designated breastfeeding space reserved for mums and bubs with plenty of pram parking too. Available all weekend. 

Throughout the Festival weekend, children must be always supervised by an adult at CMAG.
