Have you ever wondered what lies beneath the surface in Canberra? Join artist Sally Mumford for a linocut print making workshop and explore the layers of Canberra. Participants will be inspired by the striking monochromatic sculptures in theCMAG on the Square installation Delene White: Flower Power, to delve into their own impressions of Canberra.
Linocut printmaking involves carving a design into a sheet of linoleum then inking and printing the image onto paper. The workshop will include drawing your design, transferring it onto a lino block and the techniques for carving the block, inking and printing.
