A half-day event on how archaeology assists in the 'reimagining' of Canberra's past and heritage and in conservation practice. Speakers will cover the ACT Government's investigative work for suburban development including: contextual research, field survey, Indigenous perspectives and other aspects of suburban archaeology.
This event is supported by the Canberra Archaeological Society and the Australasian Society for Historical Archaeology. Held in association with the Canberra and Region Heritage Festival.
