Collect a Circle family trail pack from CMAG’s front desk to take a closer look at Jeannie Baker’s work. Imagine yourself a godwit flying high above the land and see the world through their eyes. Discover the intricate details of each collage with the aid of a pair of trusted binoculars and draw what you see. Explore the types of materials Jeannie uses in her collages through a range of activities in your pack.

Slip on your binoculars, step up to a collage and peer through the viewfinders to focus on a particular detail or pattern in Jeannie Baker’s work. Take your time to notice the details, then use the paper and pencil provided to draw what you can see.
The hessian discovery bag contains various items that Jeannie Baker uses in her collages. Take turns to feel for an item, keeping it hidden in the bag, and try to describe how this material feels. Offer clues so that your fellow explorers can guess what it may be.
