Car parking around Canberra Museum and Gallery

Construction has begun on the Light Rail to Woden project, including Raising London Circuit. We advise that you plan your visit with additional time to locate parking nearby, as there is reduced capacity and increased demand on available parking space near the Canberra Museum and Gallery.

There may also be some adjustments to traffic conditions on Constitution Avenue, London Circuit, and surrounding roads.

London Circuit closure detours

London Circuit is now closed between Edinburgh Avenue and Constitution Avenue, and sections of London Circuit west are closed to motorists and cyclists between Northbourne Avenue and Edinburgh Avenue. From Wednesday 12 March sections of London Circuit east, between Northbourne Avenue and Theatre Lane to motorists and on-road cyclists will be closed.

There will be significant traffic changes in the area, including additional lane closures on London Circuit and Constitution Avenue. Both cloverleaf ramps from Commonwealth Avenue to Parkes Way and London Circuit are now permanently closed.
